Regional Development Funding Guidance & Information
Development funding will be available based on assessed need and to organisations who can deliver additional or enhanced key services, as detailed in the Regional Youth Development Plan.
Eligibility Includes;
Having
- A constitution or governing document
- A Management Committee/Board of Directors or Governing Group/Body
- Insurance; Public and Employers Liability, Building and Equipment
- Comply with DE Circular ” Disclosure and Barring Arrangements: vetting requirements for those working or providing a service in youth organisations” (DE 2014)
- A bank account and appropriate accounting procedures
- If working with or for young people aged 18-25 years you must have a policy for working with Adults at Risk from Harm and Adults in Need of Protection
Is available for the delivery of additional or enhanced key services identified as need for example;
- Delivery of key elements of The Network For Youth
- Development of Research on key issues affecting young people
- Development of The Small Grants Scheme
When Will This Funding Be Available?
Funding Opportunities will be publicly advertised on the EA Funding website when available.
What Can I Use This Funding For?
You can use this funding for core costs associated with the following;
- Staffing Salaries
- Programme Development
- Overheads
How do I Apply For This Funding?
You can apply for Regional Development funding here.
How Will I Account For The Funding?
You will be required to complete:
- An Income and Expenditure form by 30th April each year or at the end of project
- EA Financial Verification
- EA Target Monitor on agreed outcomes – Engagement Framework, Outreach/Detached Framework and Youth Work Outcome Framework
- EA Moderation
Applicants are required as part of the application process to submit an indicative budget profile that reflects their applied for costs. This must be completed using the template provided below.
