Transitional Funding Arrangements

Transitional Funding Arrangements

The new EA Funding Scheme for Regional and Local Voluntary Youth Organisations originally was planned for implementation on October 2020. As a result of the impact of Covid-19 restrictions the Education Authority has introduced a new extended timeline for funding applications. Given this extended application timeline the Education Authority has now updated the Transitional Funding arrangements to reflect this.

It is anticipated that all existing EA registered groups will be eligible to apply for the new scheme, however in exceptional circumstances where an existing group is unsuccessful transitional funding arrangements will be available.

In order to support these local and regional voluntary youth organisations, transitional funding has been set aside until March 2022, after which the Transitional Fund will close.
